My Daughter Pointed at My Boss and Said, “Daddy’s There”
After my husband Julian died from cancer, I was left raising our five-year-old daughter Nora alone.
Desmond, Julian’s best friend and my boss, had always been there for us. He helped with groceries, fixed things around the house, and spent time with Nora whenever I needed help.
I trusted him completely.
Then, at a company party at Desmond’s house, something strange happened.
Desmond picked Nora up and carried her around the backyard.
Suddenly, she became completely silent.
She stared intensely at the side of his head.
Then she pointed and whispered:
“Mommy… Daddy’s there.”
Desmond immediately went pale.
Nora repeated herself, becoming more desperate.
“Mommy, Daddy’s there! You need to save him!”
I apologized, thinking she was simply confused because she missed her father.
But later, I stood behind Desmond and looked closely at the exact spot Nora had been pointing toward.
At first, I saw nothing unusual.
Then the light hit his head at just the right angle.
And suddenly, I understood what my five-year-old daughter had noticed.
It was something impossible.
Something connected directly to Julian.
And the moment I realized what I was looking at, I knew my husband’s death had left behind a secret none of us had discovered.
