My Husband’s Mistress Shaved My Head to Humiliate Me — I Gave My CEO Husband Five Minutes to Fix It, and He Laughed (Part 2)

Adrian’s five minutes expired while I sat in my car staring up at the glass skyscraper. He thought his position as CEO made him untouchable, but he had forgotten the most fundamental rule of his own empire: he didn’t own Blackwood Logistics. My father did.
I drove straight to Westbridge Legal Group, walked into the conference room with my jagged, ruined hair completely uncovered, and handed my attorney the green light.
By 3:00 PM, the emergency injunction was fully executed. Because our prenuptial agreement contained an ironclad corporate morality clause, Adrian’s private behavior gave my family’s trust the immediate legal right to freeze his voting shares and suspend his executive powers pending a full board review.
An hour later, the corporate tower erupted. My phone began violently vibrating with frantic calls from Adrian, followed by a flurry of panicked texts from Vanessa. I ignored them all, took a slow sip of my tea, and waited.
At 4:15 PM, the glass doors of the law firm burst open. Adrian marched in, his face twisted in a mixture of shock and sheer terror, with Vanessa lagging behind him, her previously arrogant demeanor completely replaced by pale panic.
“Claire! What the hell is this?!” Adrian screamed, slamming a corporate suspension notice onto the mahogany table. “The board just locked me out of the system! Security escorted me out of my own building! You can’t just freeze the entire company over a domestic dispute!”
I didn’t flinch. I slowly turned my chair to face him, letting him look directly at the uneven, jagged patches of my scalp that his mistress had created while he stood by and did nothing.
“It’s not a domestic dispute anymore, Adrian,” I said, my voice cutting through the room like dry ice. “This company bears the Blackwood name because it belongs to my family trust. You were an employee we appointed. And today, you allowed a subordinate to physically assault the primary owner of the asset in your own office.”
Vanessa stepped forward, her voice trembling as she realized the massive mistake she had made. “Claire, please… it was just a fight… we can settle this quietly—”
“There is no settling,” my attorney interrupted, sliding two folders across the table. “Mr. Vale, you are officially terminated for gross misconduct, effective immediately. Your company car, your corporate penthouse, and your expense accounts are already deactivated. Furthermore, we have already filed official felony assault charges against Ms. Cole with the Bellmere Police Department.”
Adrian collapsed into a chair, his eyes darting from the legal documents to my steady, unbothered expression. The arrogant CEO who had laughed at me five minutes after I left his office was suddenly looking at a future with zero assets, a ruined reputation, and a felony trial for his mistress.
“You told me to stop being dramatic, Adrian,” I whispered, standing up and wrapping my coat around my shoulders. “So I decided to be strategic instead. You and Vanessa wanted each other? Congratulations. Now you can enjoy your sad little life together at absolute zero.”
I walked past them into the afternoon sun with my head held high. My hair would grow back, but the empire I took back from him was permanently out of his reach.
